Facilitator FAQs
Anyone who feels passionate about educating adult women about the impact of ACEs on their lives and mental well-being. We suggest that you have a background in childhood adversity/trauma or psychology/counseling, but it is not a requirement.

Each session is 90 minutes long and we recommend scheduling weekly sessions, over the course of 5 weeks. In addition to the weekly 90-minute session you will need to review the talking points and prepare the exercises, which may take you another 2-3 hours/week, depending on your level of comfort with the material.
Compensation for each session is up to you. Our recommended fee for all 5 sessions is $100-150/person. Please contact the THRIVE team if you intend to charge more than that.
The processing of payments (and paying any state fees or taxes associated with it) will be your responsibility.

There are give 90-minute sessions. Each sessions discusses a different mechanism in the relationship between Adverse Childhood Experiences and adult mental health issues (e.g., maladaptive coping or emotion dysregulation).
